Shaimaa began her career as a special educator, working with children with autism, intellectual disability and other developmental delays. In that role, she developed and applied Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs), modified curriculums, and learning environments to match each child's needs and achieve their goals, and used different strategies to break down life, social, and academic skills into manageable steps.
Building on this hands-on experience, Shaimaa now coordinates and oversees the Early Intervention Program, leading the team, ensuring developing and delivering the right support to each child with individualized care.
Her responsibilities include conducting screenings, monitoring and addressing the program's ongoing needs, managing and supporting the EI team, and overseeing the day-to-day coordination that keeps the program running smoothly.
She works closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure children and families receive comprehensive, well-organized support.
Shaimaa values close collaboration with parents, therapists, and educators, and believes strongly in keeping parents involved and equipped with the right tools to support their child's growth.
